Outstanding show!, July 24, 2001
Reviewer: ebrody40 from usa

UFC XXII is a great show with great fights. The first fight is between UFC 20 and 21 veteran Ron Waterman and Tim Lajcik. This is a good back and forth bout, but the ending may leave a bad taste in your mouth.

The second fight is between Extreme Fighting and Japan Vale Tudo veteran John Lewis and Lowell Anderson. This fight was great with no resting and the ending was great.

The third fight is between Pancrase, Extreme Challenge, and UFC veteran Jeremy Horn and Pancrase, Extreme Challenge and UFC veteran Jason Godsey. This was a rematch from an Extreme Challenge event, but the match was good and the ending was great.

The fourth fight is between International Vale Tudo and UFC veteran Chuck Liddell and Extreme Fighting, Shooto and UFC 21 veteran Paul Jones. Both men worked hard and the fight was great.

The fifth fight was between Brad Kohler and Steve Judson. This fight was short and sweet with a great knockout.

The main event was for the UFC Middleweight Championship between Champion Frank Shamrock and Tito Ortiz. Shamrock is a former King of Pancrase and has victories over Bas Rutten, Enson Inoue, Kevin Jackson, Igor Zinoviev and John Lober. Oritz is one of the most improved fighter in the world since his debut at UFC 13 and has victories over Lion's Den fighters Jerry Bohlander and Guy Mezger. This fight is the best fight of 1999 and has a great story to match.

Overall great show and a must buy for any mixed martial arts fan.

Ultimate Fighting Championship 21- Return of the Champions
, March 29, 2001
Reviewer: Brandon Abel from Baltimore, MD USA
This event was one of the best UFC's that I can remember in a very long time. Maurice Smith makes his return to fight Marco Ruas in a grueling and hard hitting contest. I won't say who came out victorious, you'll just have to buy and see for yourselves. I wouldn't want to ruin it. You'll also see Tsuyoshi Kohsaka take on Tim Lajick, Pat Miletich in action defending his title, The Big Man Ron Waterman takes on Andre Roberts, Eugene Jackson is also on the card. Other fighters include: Travis Fulton, David Dodd, Royce Alger, Paul Jones, Flavio Luis Moura, Daijyu Takase, and Andre Pedernairis. Defenitly a video worth purchasing and congratulations if you already had

Bas is one of the best, August 2, 2001
Reviewer: Michael ONeill from Austin Texas USA
I think UFC 20 is one of the best UFC's in fact for me all the UFC's are cool being that i am a fighter myself and future MMA fighter i like any kind of ufc but lets get down to the review. starting with laverne clark and Fabiono Iha a good stand up fight were laverne wants to keep it standing Iha wants to take it to the ground a must see if you like a classic grappler:vs:striker then Vanderlei and ole Tony Petarra square off in a middle weight fight were it was once again a grappler:vs:striker and in that fight somebody impressed the mma world. then the third fight back into the lightweights david roberts took on marcello mello and in this fight good takedown and good finish after that fight it was to the heavyweights first off pete williams took on travis fulton the iron man great fight standing up and on the ground both warriors showed great skill standing up and on the ground and on the ground is were it ended then next up was pedro rizzo taking on tra the trauma telligman great fight all stand up it was as both fighters exchanged blows had nothing to do with the ground game and in the end one fighter of the two was knocked out and then finally what ever one was waiting for BAS RUTTEN took on KEVIN RANDLEMAN for the UFC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP of the world this fight was little times did it stay on the feet becuase bas was looking for a knock out but it went to the ground and the ground is were both fighters stayed for most of the fight bas suffered a broken nose but it looked liked kevin randleman was starting to suffer from fatiguness and bas still looked fresh after the regulation period and into the two over time periods bas would connect with a high kick and a kick to the midsection but he didn't get to score no knockout as the fight ended up going to the judges score cards so to decide you the new heavyweight champion was going to be the judges had the call first judge scored the fight randleman the second judge scored the fight rutten and the third judge scored the fight for the winner and new UFC heavyweight champion of the world well can't say will ruin the excitiement you'll have to find out for one thing though the winner of that fight did deserve the title. but UFC 20 is just another proof that the UFC is the best MMA sport out there a must buy for any MMA fan ENJOY.

Woha..! Great purchase!, June 4, 2001
Reviewer: Avi Dardik from Kfar-Saba Israel

Ok.. First of all, I'm not interested in the UFC out of blood-thirst.. Like all the other reviewers seem to be.. hehe..

I wanted to check this set out, since I love martial arts, and wanted to see how they match up against eachother in "real-world" fights..

Anyhow, that's exactly what I got.. Simply AMAZING!!! So.. You don't have to be a blood-thirsty "I'm not a wimp" kind of guy... You can just be interested in martial-arts, this is a GREAT set of tapes with some AMAZING fights I couldn't see ANYWHERE else..!

HIGHLY recommended!!

Just a note - After watching these videos, It's CLEAR to me that grappling/Wrestling arts are ALWAYS superior, Self-defence wise, to any Karate/Boxing/Punching style arts...!

YOU BETTER BE READY!, July 16, 2000

Injuries, Injuries, Injuries, but a good Show!, July 21, 2000
Reviewer: greverio from Falls Church, Virginia United States

The Ultimate Ultimate 2(UU2), looked damn good on paper. One week before the event, the names read as such: Coleman, Shamrock, Frye, Goodridge, Johnston, Abbott, Worsham, and Varelans. While the last 2 weren't the best, they were tough. But before showtime, we find out that Coleman cannot fight due to an infection. Kimo would replace him and battle Varelans to an all out war. All the favorites would win their first matches, but injuries would stop the progress(of 2) to the next round. The final was a quick, but a rollercoaster of a fight, there were many blows thrown, a lot of blood spewed, and a knockdown or two(of sorts). I guess the only disappointment was Ken Shamrock, this would be his last UFC to date. He has fought in Japan as early as May2000, but he is missed here in U.S. soil and PPV.

The Predator ONE OF THE BEST !, March 30, 2000
Reviewer: Art Sodi

This is one of the best UFC in the history, Tank made it great, Ken shamrock in one of his better fights, Kimo and Varelans was simply explosive, and Don " The Predator" Frye showing why he was consider by many the best all around fighter
