piersyboy(piersm@hammerplc.com) from Hampshire , u.k , 30 May, 2000 a well laid out reference book although one reviewer though the book focused a bit too much on the " life is like kickboxing " stuff,
I found it relevant, I still refer to the book a lot, and am a competent fighter, it is reasonably basic, but the foundation of all fighting styles are basic. The chapter on
avoiding getting hit seems obvious, but is always overlooked in training guides. If you are after a motivating training manual, it is money well spent, if you are after unrealistic moves and
unlikely situations go and rent a jackie chan film.
